4/4/09 Water Conditions
I wanted to post regarding the recent weather conditions we have had dealt to us. We received rain about a 1/2 inch which brought the rivers and creeks up. All are high and muddy. The weather gods also have put some more cold temps in the future. I will post when the conditions change. The runs just started before the last rain and this should bring in more fresh fish. 3/29/09 Conditions
Well I arrived back from my journey to the Islands down south. I fished four different islands in the Caribbean. I hit St.Maarten,Dominica,Grenada,Tobago and Barbados. I have secured some nice vacation spots for future trips. I also arrived back in Ohio to find fish all over the place. I fished two Eastern tribs in Ohio today with a mix of old and fresh fish. 3/13/09 Water Conditions
It's a crazy time of year. The water conditions are improving with all the feeders fishing well yesterday. The rivers are almost at good levels and still dropping. The east side tribs are giving up good numbers of fish. Elk was a bit murky today but will be almost clear on Saturday. The air temp is still cold at night but it will start to heat up next week.

3/9/09 High Waters
We received about 2 inches of rain yesterday making all the rivers and creeks milk chocolate. We are in the clear for Monday but Tuesday we will get hit again with more rain. I feel all the rivers in Ohio will need at least 4 days with no rain to become fishable. The east side tribs in P.A should fish Thursday or Friday based on the conditions at this time. The feeders for the Grand River will fish Wednesday or Thursday with no rain. The Grand River in Ohio was giving up good numbers of fish before the rain. The other rivers were fair. Keep the reels screaming
